Having a Business bachelor degree, I like to analyze how companies use innovation for being profitable. I don't think profits are the most important goal for a brand. However, it is fundamental! If the company cannot make money itself, who will support its activities?
When talking about innovative companies, I guess most of the people think about technological businesses. Today, however, I will talk about a furniture retailer [the world's largest one]: Ikea.
Not only does Ikea sell ready-to-assemble furniture [balancing "low price and high quality" - the company's value proposition] but also its advertising campaigns are very interesting and differ a lot from its competitors.
What to say about these fully decorated seats in a Japanese train?

Or even a real display for customers to experiment the products in their day-to-day life, such as the subway...

No revolutionary technologies, no expensive campaigns,... just great ideas!
